There are many textbooks of neurology. They all provide theoretical knowledge and very few, if at all, practical knowledge for the everyday clinical work. And when the physician has to take care for patients with real neurological problems very often the purely theoretical knowledge does not help. In the same time, there are almost no books that prepare and help for the practical work with neurological patients.

The goal of these books is exactly to fill in a part of the gap between the theory and the practice of the neurology through the presentation of clinical cases of patients with real neurological problems. And, in order to amplify the benefit from these cases, almost every clinical case is followed by practice-oriented theory.

All these clinical cases that have been under my personal responsibility both for the aetiological diagnosis, for the treatment and for the clinical follow-up of the described patients are the result of years of hard work, documentation and follow-up. Their study will undoubtedly be of benefit to the everyday clinical work of many medical professionals – neurologists, general practitioners, trainees in neurology, medical students. And if the study of these cases stimulates the readers to look for more information and to acquire even more knowledge then all my efforts will be completely rewarded.

I wish everyone who will use this work a pleasant and useful reading as well as a successful implementation of the acquired knowledge.
